Bull Shoals Caverns, located in Arkansas’ north central Ozarks, is a living cave that was 350 million years in the making – that you can tour!

Arkansas is home to a great many caves, all formed from ancient sea beds solidified into limestone and calcite, then shaped over millions of years by water – a process that continues to this day in some of them. Living caves, they’re called – and Bull Shoals Caverns is one.

Arkansas Air & Military MuseumIf you’re a fan of airplanes and or military history, you owe it to yourself to visit the Arkansas Air & Military Museum in Fayetteville, Arkansas – even the hangar it’s housed in is unique and historic!

Located at Fayetteville’s Drake Field, the Arkansas Air & Military Museum is housed in an all-wood hangar – all wood because it was constructed during World War II and wartime restrictions didn’t allow for the use of more typical metal construction materials.
